These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of CueHide, a macOS teleprompter product operated by CodeAnts. By creating an account, purchasing, downloading, or using CueHide, you agree to these terms.
1. Product
CueHide is a private floating teleprompter for macOS. It is designed to help you read a script while recording or presenting. Capture behavior can vary between recording tools, macOS versions, permissions, and hardware setups, so you should test your own workflow before important recordings.
2. Accounts
CueHide is account protected. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account and purchase information and notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Lifetime Access
CueHide is planned as a one-time lifetime deal priced at $9. Lifetime access means access to the CueHide product for the supported lifetime of the product, subject to these terms, applicable law, platform requirements, security needs, and any refund, chargeback, fraud, or abuse review.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle may process payment details, taxes, invoices, receipts, refunds, and payment support according to Paddle's buyer terms and policies. Your bank statement may show Paddle or paddle.net as the seller or billing descriptor.
5. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CueHide for your own lawful purposes. You may not copy, resell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or use CueHide in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse CueHide, interfere with its security or availability, attempt to access another user's account, abuse refunds or chargebacks, or use the product to support unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity.
7. Availability and Changes
We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We aim to keep CueHide useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every macOS version, recording tool, or capture setup.
8. Disclaimers
CueHide is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the product will meet every requirement, be error-free, or remain hidden from every capture method in every environment.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeAnts will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of CueHide. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Refunds
For the CueHide lifetime deal, refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase, unless a longer period is required by applicable consumer law. After the 14-day window, refunds are generally not provided except where required by law or where Paddle or CodeAnts determines that a billing error, duplicate purchase, fraud, or service issue warrants one.
